Where the text comes from
Sanskrit: the public-domain text, compared verse by verse between two independent digitisations. English: Annie Besant's 1922 translation (public domain). Transliteration is generated by rule. One-line meanings, reflections and chapter summaries are written for the app and always labelled “editorial”. Nothing presented as scripture or translation is ever generated by an AI.
Ask the Gita
Runs entirely on your iPhone with Apple's on-device model (iPhone 15 Pro or later with Apple Intelligence turned on). It only writes a short reflection about real verses chosen by the app, and every verse it points to is shown from the verified text. It is not a substitute for a teacher, doctor or therapist. On other devices you can still find verses by theme.
