Gita Daily Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

The short version: Gita Daily does not collect, transmit, sell or share your data. Everything you save stays on your iPhone.

What the app stores

Your saved verses, any reflections you choose to keep, and your settings (for example your chosen theme and reminder time). This is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage and a shared App Group container that lets the widget show your chosen verses. Nothing is uploaded.

Ask the Gita and Explain

What you type is processed on your iPhone by Apple's on-device foundation model (Apple Intelligence). It is not sent to us, to Apple's servers by this app, or to anyone else, and it is not stored unless you tap “Keep this reflection”. Messages that suggest you may be at risk are handled by fixed, on-device rules that show support-line information instead of any generated text.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is scheduled locally on your iPhone. There are no push servers.

Network use

The app does not connect to any server run by us. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store services when you view or buy Premium or restore purchases.

Analytics, advertising, tracking

None. There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDK and no account.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time purchase (and an optional tip) processed by Apple. The app only learns whether you own Premium.

Your data, your control

Export your saved items at any time from the Saved tab (always free). Delete everything with Settings → Delete all my data, or by uninstalling the app.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
